The Opportunity
In line with our continued growth, we’re seeking a hands-on, solutions-focused Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations within our high-energy CPI Manufacturing and Fabrication team based in Wingfield
In this senior role, you'll oversee a skilled team of panel builders, leading hands, and support staff—ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and on time, all while maintaining a high standard of quality. You'll play a key role in keeping complex infrastructure projects on track, managing shifting priorities, and driving team performance.
Skills and Experiences:
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate workshop operations to deliver high-quality electrical panels
Manage production schedules and align output with project timelines and requirements
Oversee procurement activities and ensure materials are available when needed
Collaborate with internal teams on tender reviews, planning, and project delivery
Monitor job progress, track costs, and provide regular performance reporting
Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety, and operational effectiveness
Support recruitment, training, and development of production team members
About You
Degree or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in production, project, or site management—ideally in electrical manufacturing, HV infrastructure, or construction
Strong knowledge of panel builds, switchboards, or industrial electrical systems
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage workshop teams
Confident managing multiple projects with tight timelines and evolving scopes
Commercially aware, with an ability to balance delivery performance and cost control
Practical, calm under pressure, and highly effective at solving problems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across departments and stakeholders
