About the role
- Assist the Production Supervisor with leading a mining crew to safely and efficiently deliver production results
- Carry out effective inspection and reporting processes in accordance with relevant site policies and procedures
- Co-ordination of production operators and equipment to deliver the production schedule
- Conduct mining practices to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Actively seek continuous improvement
About you
- Previous experience as Crew Leading Hand in an open-cut mining environment is preferred
- Previous experience acting as a Step-Up Mining Supervisor in an open-cut mining environment is highly regarded
- A solid understanding of the processes involved with open cut mining
- Great organisational, communication and presentation skills coupled with approachable and motivational qualities
- Proven leadership experience and people management skills is essential
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
