About the role:
Our Bunnings Trade team are seeking experienced production schedulers/planners with a background in the manufacturing industry to join our Frame & Truss team. Our Frame & Truss sites are manufacturing facilities that specialise in the design, prefabrication and supply of timber wall frames, floor trusses and roof trusses.
These important roles in our team are responsible for driving production, maintaining day to day scheduling/planning of roof trusses, wall frames & floor systems to production. This role will work closely with the Frame & Truss Scheduling & Delivery Co-ordinator to manage both the manufacturing workflow and our customer requirements.
What’s involved:
- Processing quotes, order, goods inwards and sales
- Planning daily and weekly production schedules for our customer needs
- Working closely with the team to clearly communicate what needs to be delivered
- Create and release work orders for production
- Provide regular feedback for our customers on timeframes
- Answer calls and emails from customers to assist with queries
Who we’re looking for:
You are customer focused with clear communication. You have a high degree of accuracy with your work and a good numerical understanding that you can bring to Bunnings. You are a team player with solid time management.
You’ll need:
- Ideally you have some previous experience working in a production scheduling/planner role within a manufacturing business
- You are customer focused and have the ability to prioritise well
- Outstanding coordination skills
- High attention to detail and strong administration skills
- You have excellent communication skills and can multitask
- You have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and are eager to keep learning new software systems
