About QIMR Berghofer:

About Your Lab:
Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics is a leading GMP manufacturing facility dedicated to the development of GMP cell therapies for use in ground breaking clinical trials
Role Purpose / Responsibilities:
In this role you will apply your production knowledge to schedule and contribute to the manufacture of investigational therapeutic products. You will lead a small production team in all aspects of GMP manufacture including aseptic filling, stock control, equipment management, housekeeping, as well as review and approve production documentation.
As part of the Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics team you will be required to multi-task across several disciplines and work autonomously to lead your team to excellence. You will be required to adhere to strict procedures within the GMP facility, including compliance documentation and record keeping.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline of Science or equivalent experience,
- Extensive experience (min 5 years) and high level kills in GMP production in cell therapy, medical laboratory, blood services, pathology laboratory, food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Ability to lead and schedule a small team to consistently deliver goals in a complex and challenging environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Code of GMP for Blood and Tissues.
Remuneration: Salary range is $ 118,347 to $129,016 per annum, plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time permanent appointment.
