Salary Range: $109,857 - $129,624 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Mgr Lvl 2)
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to play a key part in coordinating vehicle and equipment projects, from one-off initiatives to major statewide rollouts. You will work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects that improve our frontline operations.
In this role will have the opportunity to:
  • Lead and contribute to critical fleet and equipment improvement projects.
  • Be hands-on in developing project plans, cost assessments, and technical specifications.
  • Support change management strategies and drive innovation in vehicle fit-outs and equipment integration.
  • Collaborate across departments and contribute to process improvements and strategic planning.
  • Be part of a fast-paced environment where your work directly supports emergency healthcare services across NSW

About You

We're looking for an experienced Project Officer with expertise in fleet operations. You will bring:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of motor vehicle and specialist vehicle industry, including current repair industry practices, Australian Standards, and Design Rules relevant to vehicles and vehicle fit-outs.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, and coordinate vehicle and equipment replacement programs, including fit-out modifications and roll-outs.
  • Experience navigating complex organisational environments, with the ability to communicate effectively, provide strategic advice, and influence senior managers and key stakeholders to meet project needs.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality outcomes within strict deadlines.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, able to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
