The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our dynamic project delivery team. The Scheduler will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance, and engineering projects.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6, providing accurate progress reporting, and supporting project managers and stakeholders with critical planning insights.

The Scheduler will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance, and engineering projects.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6, providing accurate progress reporting, and supporting project managers and stakeholders with critical planning insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Support project planning activities from initiation through execution and closeout.
- Prepare baseline schedules, progress updates, forecasts, and look-ahead plans.
- Analyse critical paths, float, resource allocation, and schedule risks.
- Provide clear, accurate schedule reporting to project managers, site teams, and clients.
- Track and report on project progress, milestones, and performance metrics.
- Support shutdown and turnaround planning, ensuring alignment with scope, resourcing, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams to maintain realistic schedules.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in project controls processes.
- Proven experience as a Project Scheduler within the Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Industrial Services sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential).
- Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling shutdowns, turnarounds, or major maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of project controls, resource planning, and cost integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with competing priorities.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Primavera P6 training/certification (highly regarded).
- Oil & Gas industry experience (essential).
