Primary Purpose of the Role

This role involves working in a crew under the leadership and direction of a Leading Hand and providing advice and assistance to lesser skilled employees such as laborers and apprentices.
Qualifications & Requirements
● Qualified Metal Roofer
● White Card & Working at Heights Licenses
● Valid QLD Driving License
● Have Your Own Tools Available to Suit Metal Roofing Works
● Strong Industry Knowledge Suited to Metal Roofing in Residential, Commercial & Infrastructure
● A Positive Business Growth Mindset
● Punctuality and Skills in the Use of Technology Including Apple Devices
Main Tasks & Duties
● Filling out Site Safety & WHS Checklists Preliminary to Site Opening
● Installation of Metal Roofs with the Allocated Roofing Crew
● Ability to Work Independently Whilst Maintaining High Work Quality, Motivation, Integrity, With Attention to Detail
● Practice Professionalism & Respect When Interacting with Crews and Clients
● Follow Instructions of the Crews leading Hand, Administration, and Management, Including Site Safety & Job Checklist Requirements
Availability
● Day Shifts from Monday through to Friday
● Weekend Availability
● Travel Availability
Remuneration
Remuneration for this position is offered above award rate between $75k - $85k per annum, in accordance with the Plumbing and Fire Sprinklers Award (MA000036), (full time), and in line with relevant experience. In addition to this a fuel allowance will be provided.
