About The Opportunity:
Join our Production team as the Quality Auditor and monitor and set parameters for products and services, develop quality control procedures, perform audits, and oversee quality control to ensure that all UON equipment that is manufactured and assembled from the Production facility is right first time and fit for purpose.
- Perform implementation and oversee/monitoring of quality control measures – for right first-time quality standard achievement.
- Execute regular Quality inspections of materials throughout the manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and where necessary raising and investigating non-compliance.
- Monitor Production processes for simplicity and right first-time quality – identifying and assisting in documenting improvements where necessary.
- Develop and implement quality control audit plans as agreed with PQPE.
- Evaluate production stages and testing the composition, appearance, and functionality of completed products.
- Ensure the alignment of team members to the desired/required quality standards, ensuring their audits and work are aligned.
- To be 60% workshop base and 40% office based
- Proficiency in quality management system.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced organisational skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience working in a quality auditor role.
- Quality Auditor credentials (not essential but high desirable)
- Mechanical and/or Electrical trade qualification/experience
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards.
- In depth knowledge of industry best practice
- Has led or been a part of a high performing team to recognise/foster continuous improvement
