About the role
As the Quarry Supervisor, you will report directly into the Quarry Manager, This roles is responsible for Maintaining production volumes in accordance with the quarry production plan and ensure that the quarry production process is carried out end to end in a cost effective manner with a focus on continuous improvement to achieve business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that company safety standards and procedures are achieved
- Staff & Contractor Supervision
- Assist Quarry Management for site internal and external audits
- Ensure all personnel are inducted and trained for the task they perform
- Operation to comply with environmental objectives
- Actively participate in Safety Improvement Team meetings
- Conduct daily pre start meeting with personnel
- Assist in managing site maintenance requirements
About you
- Passion for safety - previous employment in a zero harm environment
- Flexible with hours of work, including weekends to meet the needs of the quarry
- Communications skills, ability to deal with stakeholders and customers
