We're thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a Radiology Registrar to undertake training on campus at Latrobe Regional Health, Traralgon in collaboration with Alfred Health. Reporting to the I-MED Radiology Director of Training and Campus Director, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, accurate diagnostic interpretations while contributing to the growth and innovation of our services.
Position Highlights:
- Base Site: I-MED Radiology - Latrobe Regional Health, Traralgon
- Training Rotations: Training within a regional/rural location (defined as Modified Monash Model (MMM) 2-7 locations), with only limited metropolitan rotations to meet specialty training program requirements
- Training Split: Minimum 66% in MMM 2-7 locations
What We're Looking For:
- MBBS or equivalent, with AHPRA registration eligibility
- Current Radiology Trainees ready for a change and inspired by a unique opportunity in a regional/rural healthcare setting; or,
- Completion of two full years in an accredited hospital as an intern/resident or equivalent by the planned commencement of the advertised training position
- Experience in rural/regional settings, ideally through a rural clinical school or university
- Genuine commitment to working in a regional/rural area demonstrated in your application
- Current experience in radiology service delivery
- Current or pending training accreditation
- Before applying to any accredited training positions, applicants should register with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) to obtain a College Registration Verification Number (CRVN) confirming that you meet the College's minimum eligibility requirements.
