Raging Waters Sydney - Park Presentation Team Leader
About the role:
Park Presentation Team Leader at Raging Waters Sydney is responsible for creating a positive work environment along with the efficient and effective coordination of all day-to-day operational aspects of the Park Presentation Team.

The Park Presentation Team Leader will ensure their team exceeds expectations by ensuring that all tasks related to Staff and Guest areas are completed to the highest standards in terms of cleanliness, appearance, and safety with through clean floors and rubbish is promptly removed. Attention is to be paid to company environmental policy in terms of chemical usage and waste disposal.

The Park Presentation Team Leader will have a keen eye for detail, be able to lead a team be self-motivated and professionally presented.
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, monitor and motivate team members to achieve ensure all tasks are completed by the Park Presentation Team Members.
  • To effectively train, develop, supervise, and mentor staff within the Park Presentation team.
  • Teach and train team members on various equipment and task.
  • Organise and manage a team to achieve goals and to promote a positive working environment.
  • Conduct training and assess competency of Team Members to assist in team development and mentoring.
  • Assist with coordinating team members including but not limited to rostering.
  • Ensure the Park Presentation Team maintain park presentation standards to the highest level.
  • Responsible for helping ensure overall Park cleanliness including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying rubbish bins, maintaining picnic areas, maintaining birthday & cabana areas, and restrooms.
  • Keeping all public areas neat and tidy including wiping down of tables and removal of any rubbish.
  • Empty rubbish bins as well as clean and wash bins on a regular basis.
  • Clean all restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and disinfect and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors.
  • Vacuuming of all carpet areas.
  • Clean all staff areas including offices, staff rooms and restrooms.
  • Disinfecting touch points and railings.
  • Complete pressure washing duties as directed.
  • Complete grounds maintenance and work as directed.
  • Report all repairs and replacements required.
  • Removing cobwebs from buildings, entranceways, and stairwells
  • Ensure the park complies with all requirements defined under laws, guidelines, legislation, and standards.
  • Performing daily reporting as required.
  • Assist with administration tasks as directed.
  • Assist other areas within the operations department when needed.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, delivery and review of policy and procedures that ensure Raging Waters Sydney meets its various obligations including financial, workplace health and safety, industry, and legal requirements.
  • Follow and enforce company environmental policies in terms of chemical usage and waste disposal.
  • To carry out all duties and responsibilities assigned by the Park Presentation Coordinator, Director of Operations, and any member of the Management Team.
Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
  • Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.
Education:
Desirable
  • Manual Handling Training.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Leadership.
Languages: Fluent English

Experience:
  • Cleaning experience.
  • Experience in leading a team, training and or mentoring a team.
  • Experience in computer data entry.

  • Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, early mornings, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season.

  • Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.
  • To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team.
  • Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements.
Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only.
You are required to have a high level of physical fitness and stamina and be physically fit. Physical requirements include but are not limited to walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling squatting, sitting, standing, twisting and repetitious movements.

Pay Conditions:
This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.
Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.
The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.
Park Presentation Team Members aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 2 hourly rate of $25.85 per hour plus 25% casual loading ($32.31 per hour includes casual loading).
  • Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under.
  • Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.

Additional Information:
