About the Role
As our Receptionist, you'll be the heart of our office, greeting all clients and visitors with a warm welcome, whether they're in person or on the phone. You'll be the go-to person for directing people to the right place and providing essential administrative support to our Operations Assistant and Office Manager.
Beyond the front desk, you'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth running of our office. You'll manage room bookings, help with event setups, and assist with a variety of back-of-house duties that keep everything running efficiently. This is a dynamic role where your excellent customer service skills and can-do attitude will be highly valued every single day.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Be the first point of contact, answering all inquiries in a professional and friendly manner, and ensuring the reception area is always clean and presentable.
- Assist with tasks like preparing documents, managing faxes, ordering stationery and catering, and providing crucial support during staff absences.
- Manage the online booking system for meeting and training rooms and assist with their setup for various events.
- Prepare data reports to monitor client and visitor activity.
- Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems.
- Provide a high level of assistance to our staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
You're a polished and professional individual who is well-organised and has a passion for providing excellent customer service. You're a natural at multitasking and thrive on making a positive impression.
Essential criteria we're looking for:
- Computer Skills: You are computer literate with well-developed MS Office skills (intermediate level).
- Communication: High-level written skills and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Organisation: Well-developed analytical and organisational skills.
- Professionalism: A well-presented appearance appropriate for a corporate office.
