What do we want from you?
- We are looking for someone who is motivated, passionate and loves coming to work each day
- You'll be minimum Certificate II qualified
- 2+ years nursing or reception experience with sound knowledge of preventative care & diets
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Experience with Rx works is preferred but not essential
- Great customer service skills and be able to build rapport with our clients
- Organised and has high attention to detail
- Ability to deal with a varying workload and be able to prioritise work tasks
- Can multi-task and work well under pressure
- Work well within a team
- Good communication skills
- Help with driving our clinic initiatives and goals
About the role...
- The role is part-time with an offering of 25+ hours per week
- The shifts are 3 days per week and every second Saturday, though you may be asked to cover other shifts during staff leave periods
- Working alongside our Practice Manager, You will be responsible for reception duties including welcoming clients and patients on arrival, answering the phone, booking appointments through our patient management program, taking and receipting payments, sending and responding to emails from clients, organising patient admission paperwork, banking duties and other administrative tasks needed.
- Triaging patients (which will be trained on induction)
- Providing general advice on vaccine schedules, food and parasite prevention
- Providing and doing up estimates for elective patient procedures
- You will be exposed to a busy practice that will ensure your customer service skills are not wasted and you can practice them every day
