Receptionist – Casual | Pet Boarding Facility | Llandilo

Sydney Dog and Cat Boarding is seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly organised Receptionist to join our dynamic and passionate team in Llandilo. As a key member of our busy pet care facility, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to clients and their pets
- Answer phones and emails, schedule appointments, and manage bookings efficiently
- Perform a range of administrative tasks with high attention to detail
- Confidently upsell and cross-sell services and products
- Navigate booking software and digital tools with ease
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Skills and Experience:
- Essential: Minimum 3 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment
- Experience with sales and upselling services confidently
- Experience using booking and scheduling software (highly regarded)
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles and Xero (highly regarded)
- Animal industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Confident around dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
- Must have a current driver's license and own reliable transport
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays is essential however other days may also be required
- Availability during school holidays, Christmas, Easter, and public holidays is important. While you may not be required to work every public holiday, flexibility is essential during these busy periods.
