About the Role
The Regional Leader plays a key role in the management and delivery of the Australian Apprenticeship Support Service (AASS) contract in their region. The role is responsible for the overall performance of the AASS team in their region and will ensure contracted and performance targets are met.
The Regional Leader will be responsible for quality service delivery, stakeholder engagement within industry groups and networking activities. Identification of “value-add” business development opportunities and the ability to confidently handle complex issues in line with legislation and company policy form part of this important role. Commitment to the MAS National (and wider IntoWork Australia) Management Team and driving performance outcomes are paramount to this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing contractual and service delivery activities in line with Mas Tender Response
- Developing supporting policies within a Quality Management System (QMS) framework
- Ensure employee retention meets the needs of both the business unit and market and that appropriate skills and contract knowledge are maintained within the team
- Ensure the team meets agreed performance indicators and timeframes and complies with the legislative and regulatory requirements
- Provide ongoing monitoring of performance against pre-agreed indicators and address gaps as appropriate
- Manage contractual deliverables of the MAS Experience, build and maintain key stakeholder relationships and in conjunction with program partners, CEG and Work & Training
- Liaise with State Managers to effectively service National clients and actively pursue business development opportunities
- Report on the performance of the management system
- Promoting of Industry through socials
- Completing sign up KPI
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a similar role within an aligned industry or Government program would be well regarded.
- A proven ability to build and manage strong partnerships with clients, industry bodies, training organisations, and government stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and strategic approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading a state based team in an AASS environment
- Relevant clearances including Police Check, Working with Children Check, and a valid driver’s licence.
