• Full time 12 month fixed term
• Business development and sales experience & drivers licence essential

The heart of the role 

This is not a conventional retail store opportunity. You’ll be surrounded by supportive colleagues and managers that give you the trust and time to interact with customers to deliver health solutions and claim resolutions that are meaningful to them.

If you’re the kind of person who loves being out on the road, identifying opportunities, driving business development initiatives, sales and connecting with customers, then this role is tailor made for you.

Based out of our Townsville Store and working towards customer growth activities you will be responsible for:

• Identifying opportunities to showcase the value and benefits of Bupa Health Insurance products through corporate visits, attending events and other local activity
• Working within the wider community to develop business and community-based relationships that promote the Bupa brand and products and the acquisition of new members
• Visiting customers within the corporate, community and healthcare space to maximise growth
• Providing individual recommendations of the most suitable health and wellbeing products based on the customer needs

Taking a ‘customer first’ approach, you will also:

• Ensure the customers understand the full value of their health insurance product
• Provide solutions to any identified concerns or needs, and identify and act upon opportunities 
• Educate members on all the benefits they can access
