Sydney Fire Spray Pty Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Renderer to join our growing team based in Moorebank, NSW. If you have a background in plastering and fire-rated systems and are looking to work on a range of dynamic building projects, this role could be for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out al plastering duties as directed on client projects and attending sites to
complete your duties
- Work accurately from drawings to plan and set out jobs with a high degree of accuracy
- Installation of fire rated board systems, partitioning, wall linings, ceiling and
encasements to seal, protect and minimize risk of building exposure to spread of fire
between compartments
- Application of coatings including vermiculite fire spray in compliance with BCA and
code requirements
- Installation and rectification for whole of building passive fire upgrade projects due to
end of warranty inspections, compliance and building upgrades and new building works
in accordance with site schedules and budgets
- Complete job records to maintain records of work, issues arising and remedial actions
taken
- Discharge duties to the highest standards per relevant Australian standards
- Maintain knowledge of rigid sheeting installation techniques and industry advances
- Ensure that all consumables and equipment are determined per individual jobs and
pay attention to accuracy to minimize wastage
- Carry out duties in line with job timeframes and report any issues to supervisor that
have the capacity to impede work progress
- Report site issues to management for resolution
- Follow all health and safety procedures and make sure all safety equipment is worn
and in serviceable condition
- Mentor less experienced personnel on site to ensure high levels of professionalism
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience.
- Certificate III in Solid Plastering or equivalent experience
- Proficient in fire-rated coatings, partitioning, wall linings, and board encasements.
- Strong understanding of fire-rated board systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, trades, and clients.
- Reliable and committed to completing tasks on time and to company standards.
- Team player who supports company values and goals.
Full-time | Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year + superannuation
