About the role

We are seeking applications for a Rescue Crew Officer to join our Aviation & Critical Services team in support of Queensland Health based at Horn Island, QLD. This is an equal time Touring RCO position, on a 15 day on / 13 day off touring roster pattern, operating on the most advanced HEMS AW139s in Australia. Given the travel distance to base, the preferred candidate will live in Queensland.

About you

The successful candidate must satisfy the following contract minimum qualifications and experience:

Essential:
  • CASA Class 2 Medical current,
  • Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation,
  • A high level of physical fitness.

Desirable:
  • 500 hours of rotary wing experience
  • AVI40119 Certificate IV in Aviation (Aircrew Officer)
  • Bronze Medallion
  • AW139 experience
  • FLS experience
  • NVG experience
