About Juniper Korumup
Juniper Korumup is a well-established aged care home located in Albany, providing compassionate and culturally respectful care for up to 72 residents. The facility is deeply connected to the local community and designed to meet the diverse needs of its residents.
Set in a peaceful location, Juniper Korumup offers a homely and supportive environment for both residents and staff. Services include personalised care plans, experienced and dedicated staff, and thoughtfully maintained spaces that promote wellbeing and comfort.
About the Role – Residential Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join Juniper Korumup as our new Residential Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a passionate team in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, energetic, and results-driven, with a strong background in team leadership, operational management, and navigating sector reforms. We welcome applicants from aged care, health, disability, and other human services sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer-focused care tailored to individual needs, creating moments of joy for residents
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, actively seeking and responding to feedback
- Lead and develop a kind, compassionate, and motivated team
- Collaborate with corporate services to manage budgets and financial performance
- Monitor roster costs, income, and expenses to stay within budget
- Drive change and manage transitions effectively
- Participate in risk assessments, hazard control, and fire safety programs
Key Requirements
- Qualifications in business, leadership, or clinical fields (AHPRA registration if applicable)
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Proven leadership and change management skills
- Experience in business and financial planning
- Proficiency in information systems for reporting and decision-making
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
- Successful completion of key personnel checks, including Police Clearance and Bankruptcy
