The Gateways Support Services vision is to provide support for children and adults with a disability and their families to maximise their quality of life. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Moolap.
What’s in it for you?
We a permanent, part time opportunity for 36.25 hours per fortnight available at our service in Moolap. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Line A – 36.25 hours
Week 1
Friday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Saturday 6:30am – 9am (2.5 hours)
Wednesday 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Week 2
Thursday 6:30am – 9am & 2:45pm – 8:45pm (8.5 hours)
Saturday 7:45am – 3pm (7.25 hours)
Sunday 9am – 1pm (4 hours)

- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Employee Working with Children Check (Victorian)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
