We're seeking a passionate Retail Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our retail store.
In this dynamic role, you'll lead a committed team of volunteers, drive store performance, and foster a warm and inclusive space that supports environmental goals and local communities.
What you'll do:
- Oversee daily shop operations, including sales, stock, donation management, cash handling, and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of volunteers through rostering, training, and performance guidance.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold Anglicare's community values.
- Drive store performance against budgetary, environmental, and strategic targets.
- Implement effective stock selection, sorting, recycling, and pricing systems.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to our social media and e-sales presence to showcase high-value items.
- Foster an inclusive and positive volunteer culture through engagement and recognition.
What you'll bring:
- Certificate or Diploma in Business, Management, or Retail (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience supervising in a retail or Op Shop environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, especially with volunteers.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for the circular economy, community engagement, and social impact.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and meet targets.
