Pacific Security Group is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Sales Person to join our team!
(Please note that previous Electronic Security sales experience & technical understanding is essential for this role.)

About the role
In this role, your duties as a Electronic Security Sales Person will include but not be limited to:
- PC based quoting and following up, and closing “hot leads” for existing and new clients. Some on site scoping with technicians as required. VIP customer service interaction for private schools, strata, commercial.
- Educating customers on security systems & other products via phone, email & site inspections.
- Meeting set sales targets within the sales department (you'll have other sales person to bounce off and a support person assisting 2 days a week to help with follow ups and meeting targets)
- Liaising with technicians and industry suppliers to design quotes that work.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends in smart security systems.
What we're looking for
- Min. 2 years recent experience in the Electronic Security Industry essential
- Proven knowledge/experience in selling Security Alarms, CCTV, Access Control & Intercoms. Technical understanding is required.
- Demonstrated skills in effectively quoting both old and new technologies
- Full Australian working rights essential
- Must have computer proficiency + knack for understanding products/educating on how they work.
- Simpro CRM experience a bonus.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to reach targets.
- Self driven, pro-active, well organized is a requirement

We are going through an exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Consultant to hit the ground running.
About You:
To be successful with us, you must be self-motivated, well organized, a go-getter, understand how to close with the customer in mind. You will possess a deep understanding of the electronic security industry in a Sales position and have the skill to assess a site and know how to quote full integrated systems. You understand profit margins, formatting of a quote and can close well.
You will hit the ground running with incoming hot enquiries from existing customers and new customers. You will be required to educate customers over the phone about our products and services, on occasions you will need to attend site with the technician & the customer for site inspections, and you will need to be extremely efficient on the PC to get the quote out the door promptly.
You have high attention to detail, are an excellent communicator, your presentation is always clean/tidy & professional, and you understand what it takes to hit targets.
