About the Role
We are seeking a Scheduling Officer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with school stakeholders and various professional departments to support scheduling operations. You will receive general direction from Scheduling Services Specialists and Coordinators, and play a key role in developing academic and exam timetables, as well as coordinating ad-hoc and event bookings.

The Scheduling Officer will assist with the planning and facilitation of invigilated exams, and will be responsible for scheduling space resources and facilities within the relevant system databases. This will be done in close collaboration with our business partners to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
As part of the Scheduling Services team, the successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across the team to meet operational needs and contribute to a collaborative and responsive service environment.

There are two available positions, one fulltime ongoing role and one fulltime 6-month, fixed term position.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with academic, management and administrative staff, including the preparation of clear report
  • Have a positive, pro-active and energetic manner when dealing with situations in environments which are sometimes high pressure, with the ability to retain a professional manner
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills

Qualifications
A degree without subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in a related field
