Melbourne Sports Institute is currently recruiting enthusiastic basketball referees to join our team for Inter School Sport Competitions in Term 4 2025.
We are currently recruiting basketball referees to work with our client schools located in the following and surrounding suburbs: Frankston, Carrum Downs, Mornington, Langwarrin, Bangholme, Mount Eliza, Mount Martha, Tyabb, Dromana, Rosebud and Somerville.
We offer competitive rates starting from $40 per match with an opportunity for back-to-back games!
The season runs throughout Term 4, from early October till early December.
Fixtures are played every day throughout the week (Monday-Friday) and primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons between 12:30pm – 5:30pm.
There are also opportunities for full day tournaments in these areas from Monday - Friday.
Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further refereeing opportunities throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
- Have a deep understanding of basketball
- Possess significant experience in playing, coaching or refereeing the sport
