Help us deliver like never before 

As our Seasonal Truck Driver at our friendly Mile End facility, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities during our busiest time of the year. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!   

We're now hiring for our seasonal period. Seasonal team members generally commence across September and December and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas and into January. There may be potential for an ongoing role beyond.  A range of day shifts and PM shifts are available!

 
You’ll be  

• Safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery  
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   
• Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups   
• Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups  

You’ll be paid 

• $38.58/hr inclusive of loading plus super, tonnage allowance and potential 15% for day, 30% for night shifts
• Some shifts attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend work

About you 

• You maintain a HR licence with some HR driving experience
• You’re safety focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  
• You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  
• You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights (up to 16kg) 
• You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical - including weight under 130kg for our safe seat limits, drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
