The Team – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Our FP&A team leads all aspects of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and customer planning. We’re a key partner to the business—translating data into insights that inform better decisions and enable performance.

The Role – Senior Analyst, FP&A

As a Senior Analyst, you’ll support the New Zealand and Pacific Island markets, playing a vital role in strategic planning, reporting, and performance analysis. This role sits within the broader Australasian Finance Team and works closely with both regional and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

+ Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze monthly results and key variances against budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Deliver insightful commentary to senior management, including leading monthly performance reviews.
+ Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business teams to understand performance drivers and their impact on financial outcomes.
- Provide financial inputs and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
+ Planning & Forecasting
- Support the development and management of the annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Consolidate and assess revenue and expense risks and opportunities.
+ Regulatory & Compliance
- Prepare “Net Comp” regulatory reports for New Zealand authorities.
- Support additional compliance tasks including tax and financial filings.
+ Operational Support
- Manage and improve standard financial reporting packs, including KPIs and business metrics.
- Assist in expense tracking and cost management across the Australasian division.
+ Ad-hoc Analysis & Projects
- Handle senior management requests and provide data-driven insights.
- Contribute to special projects, including automation and process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

+ Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance) are a strong plus.
+ Experience
- Experience in finance roles, ideally within the payments or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
+ Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience with financial systems such as Oracle and Hyperion.
+ Core Competencies
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and commercially astute.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
