As a Senior Identity Analyst at Rest, you will lead the design, engineering, and operation of the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform, with a strong focus on hands-on technical delivery. You’ll be directly involved in configuring and managing the platform, troubleshooting complex issues, and executing identity lifecycle tasks such as provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will assist in driving design decisions, contribute to process and system improvements, and play a key role in developing team capability. As a senior member, you will mentor junior analysts, deliver training, and help shape the strategic direction of the identity function.
- Lead and support integration efforts across various systems and applications with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, enabling automated provisioning and de-provisioning of user identities.
- Drive automation of identity lifecycle processes, ensuring consistent, secure, and efficient access management in line with business requirements.
- Lead project design decisions, define solution architecture for identity-related initiatives, and provide expert recommendations to stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide hands-on leadership in the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the SailPoint platform, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Design and implement enhancements to the IGA platform, including workflow optimization, policy updates, and new feature enablement to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Configure and manage application onboarding for access governance and single sign-on (SSO) via Entra ID and other federation protocols.
- Oversee access reviews, role assignments, and policy enforcement across cloud environments such as Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Monitor system performance and health of the SailPoint platform, identifying and resolving technical issues proactively to maintain system stability.
- Administer and maintain the IGA platform, including updates, configuration changes, and regular health checks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deactivation and removal of stale or unused accounts, minimizing security risk.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IGA configurations, integration procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Generate and analyse reports on user access, activity logs, and compliance metrics to support audit and assurance requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and platform capabilities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and provide training on IGA best practices, tools, and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered).
- Hands-on experience in identity and access management (IAM), actively implementing and managing IAM solutions primarily using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or similar platforms.
- Practical knowledge of IAM principles, access controls, and security best practices applied in real-world environments.
- Proven experience conducting in-depth access reviews, security assessments, and remediation activities.
- Experience working directly with Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID, including integrating these platforms with IGA solutions.
- Experience managing Active Directory environments and performing privileged account reviews to enforce security policies.
- Practical experience implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, particularly using Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Skills in analysing, designing, and optimizing identity management processes, including identity lifecycle management, access requests, and privilege controls.
- Preferred certifications include SailPoint IdentityNow (IDN) or Identity IQ to demonstrate validated expertise with SailPoint platforms
