The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Investment Technology to pay a key role in the delivery of software, analytics, and application support across Investment Technology Platforms and Products. This role requires a detail-oriented technical lead with a strong background in financial analytics and experience delivering complex solutions within the investment industry.
Reporting to the Director, Unlisted Assets and ESG Technology, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management – Lead, mentor, and develop high-performance teams to deliver complex initiatives and BAU changes. Drive the adoption of technology frameworks, agile practices and governance standards. Engage with the Delivery CoE to optimise processes and track performance.
Planning & Scope Management – Define and manage delivery scope, prioritisation, and execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Project Governance & Delivery Oversight – Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, maintain stakeholder engagement, and oversee budget control.
Deployment & Transition – Oversee release management, ensure smooth transition to support teams, and maintain comprehensive documentation of delivered solutions
Risk Management – Identify and proactively manage delivery risks, maintaining oversight through structured mitigation strategies.
About You
You have 12+ years’ experience leading delivery initiatives within investment technology, with a strong understanding of financial analytics, predictive models, and investment data across listed and unlisted assets. You are highly skilled in stakeholder management, able to engage with senior leaders while effectively navigating complexity and ambiguity. Your expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Lean), project management tools (JIRA, Confluence), and delivery frameworks allows you to drive execution with precision. With a disciplined approach to quality assurance, governance, and risk management, you ensure delivery outcomes align with business objectives.
You are comfortable working at a detailed technical level, you bring a strategic mindset to managing investment solutions while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within your teams.
