Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in developing software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of how mobile operating systems work, both technically and business-wise, including the developments in the mobile industry.
- Ability to travel internationally for collaboration with business partners.
- Ability to effectively communicate with external partners in region.
- Ability to learn new technology and follow industry trends.
- Ability to take new issues and to manage multiple context in parallel.

Responsibilities
- Lead projects and team members to take on cross-functional problems in the scope.
- Design technical solutions grounded in high-level business objectives and technical constraints, while also creating solutions to improve the Android developer experience within the Android and Google toolchain.
- Resolve Android launch blockers in collaboration with the cross-functional teams in Android.
- Collaborate with Android partners to improve Android module quality beyond Google's own product line.
- Define quality bars with Android module teams and scale it across the ecosystem.
