Job Description
Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our Cloud, Data & Infrastructure team.
In this role, you’ll leverage your technical skills to develop, maintain, and support innovative solutions that solve real-world challenges in the payments industry. From designing and building scalable systems to ensuring seamless integration with key technologies, your work will directly impact millions of users.
You’ll also make an impact by:
Maintain effective relationships with ETS customers and staff. Maintain effective relationships with third parties such as vendors, outsourced partners and Cuscal's business partners.
Being the focal point for Cuscal for all Corporate/DC/Cloud infrastructure and security design activities and opportunities including (but not limited) compute, storage, fabric and monitoring as well as business projects.
Be responsible for the design and implementation of Cloud based services and automation running on Cuscal Cloud Infrastructure and ensuring that they meet the business objectives and adhere to service level agreements (SLA)
Collaborate with functional and technical team members to develop deployment strategies for existing and new infrastructure, Cloud, and Automation solutions
Review and identify ways to improve performance, stability, and security of services and applications running on infrastructure and Cloud Infrastructure through continuous improvement and automation
Maintain a thorough and deep understanding of the all network and security elements, protocols, best practices, and cutting-edge trends
Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services and solutions in accordance with established objectives.
Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support
Supervising the administration of systems and servers related to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
Take part as a team member in 24x7x365 network on-call roster
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
5 years of systems infrastructure, server support and project work experience.
At least 5 years as systems administrator in a mission critical environment.
Demonstrated participation in various communications projects at a technical level
Demonstrated knowledge of systems hardware, and operational support of servers, backup devices, cabling and racking of systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of systems software.
Systems administrator in a mission critical environment.
Demonstrated knowledge/skills in one (or more) of the following:
PowerShell scripting
Automation technologies
Wintel/Linux environments (AD, Azure Entra ID, Exchange, ADFS, Satellite)
VMware / HyperV
System management software concepts and processes (SCCM)
Experience with Citrix / Azure Virtual Desktop
Experience with backup technologies
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
Cloud experience (Azure/AWS)
Experience in supporting financial systems
PCI compliance
