About the opportunity
As a Service Integration Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, person-centred services in your local community through the Carer Gateway program. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, build strong community partnerships, and embed community development strategies that reflect the unique needs of your region.
You’ll work closely with Counsellors, Coaches, Peer Support Facilitators, and Carer Hub Navigators to ensure services are inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe.
A core focus of this role is to lead and embed community development strategies that strengthen local capacity, build collaborative partnerships, and ensure Wellways services are responsive, inclusive, and connected to the community’s unique needs. This role requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the local community and relational model of care.
This role offers a hybrid arrangement of 1 day WFH and 4 days in the office.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a social science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience working within the specified local community in at least one of the Caring, Mental Health, Community, Disability or Health Sciences Sectors
- A minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience
- Available to participate in ‘out of hours’ activities as required
- An understanding and experience of delivering services to families and carers, mental health issues, rehabilitation practices, disability services and the impact of mental health issues and disability on service users, their families, carers and the community
- Right to work within Australia
- Current valid Driver’s Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course)
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children's Check (Employee/Paid)
