Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic, personable, and attentive individuals to join our team as part-time Waitresses/Waiters. You will play a key role in ensuring an unforgettable dining experience, guiding guests through our menu, and providing knowledgeable recommendations on Japanese whisky, sake, and our omakase offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a high standard of hospitality aligned with the omotenashi philosophy.
- Present the menu and provide detailed explanations of our yakitori, omakase, and drink options.
- Guide guests in their dining choices, recommending specific dishes, Japanese whisky, and sake pairings.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining an organized and clean dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless delivery and accurate orders.
- Manage guest inquiries and requests with efficiency and a focus on enhancing the dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and an interest in learning about yakitori, sake, wine, and Japanese whisky.
- Strong communication skills and an engaging, personable demeanor.
- Japanese language is a preffered
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to embody the spirit of omotenashi and go above and beyond for guest satisfaction.
