The Opportunity
Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for a skid steer / bobcat operator who has experience working around live assets. You are someone who can work independently and is confident in skid steer operations. Given our vast range of services, there is plenty of variety in the role which includes:
- Operation of skid steer on site
- Working around water, gas or electrical assets
- General labouring including site preparation, onsite support and associated civils
- Operating other machinery such as a front end loader & backhoe
We offer a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime. Your background may be from one of the following:
- Pipe maintenance experience such as reactive water main maintenance, pipe laying, plumbing, gas main and water main renewals
- NBN or electrical industries where you have worked around live assets
- Or you might want to break into the industry, if so we'd still like to hear from you!
Key Selection Criteria:
- Valid Drivers Licence (MR or HR preferred) and Skid Steer ticket
- Experience operating machinery around live assets
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Have the ability to work on sites across Greater Adelaide
- Good work ethic and positive work attitude with the ability to work in a team
- A strong focus on safety
To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will be subject to a pre-employment medical (including a drug & alcohol test) and a criminal history check. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
