The Opportunity
Spa Lucca has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spa or Wellness Manager to join our successful luxury hotel spa located in lovely Port Stephens. As Spa Manager, you’ll support the daily operations of the spa, lead and develop a high-performing team, and help ensure a flawless guest experience.
Your Day to Day
- Day-to-day leadership, team support, and guidance to spa employees
- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Facilitate the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they are well-integrated and prepared to uphold the spa’s standards of excellence
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary
- Handling guest feedback and service recovery
- Handling stock management, rostering, and reporting for the business
- Providing spa treatments (if clinically qualified)
- Assisting with front-of-house coordination and operational flow
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and industry regulations
About You
You are polished, professional, and a natural leader with a genuine passion for wellness and luxury guest experiences. With strong organisational skills and an eye for detail, you inspire and motivate your team to deliver a seamless and memorable spa journey. Your ability to balance operational efficiency with warm, attentive service ensures that every guest leaves feeling renewed. Previous experience managing a spa or wellness environment within a hotel is highly desirable, but above all, you bring the right attitude, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
This is a full-time position which will require availability to work across a 7-day roster alternating with a Senior Spa Therapist to ensure full team coverage for our guests.
