Spa Supervisor

The Role

Alba Thermal Springs and Spa is a premium wellness destination located on the stunning Mornington Peninsula. Known for our world-class thermal springs, spa experiences, and culinary offerings, we exist to create a sanctuary where guests leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and deeply cared for.

As we continue to grow our team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Spa Supervisor to play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the Spa. This is a hands-on position that supports the Spa Director and Assistant Spa Manager in ensuring the seamless delivery of spa services and maintaining our exceptional standards.

This role requires a strong operational focus, the ability to lead by example, and a commitment to delivering a premium guest experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Lead and support the spa therapist team throughout the day to ensure smooth operations.
• Delegate and oversee daily operational tasks such as cleaning, stock preparation, and room resets.
• Assist with the onboarding and on-the-job training of new team members to ensure consistent service standards.
• Assist with identifying training needs for current team members and delivering training as required.
• Performing treatments as required.
• Ensure consistent use of treatment protocols and retail recommendations.
• Act as a point of contact for guest queries or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Conduct projects as directed by the Spa Director, which may include initiatives related to staff incentives, training plans, or rostering improvements.
• Open and/or close the spa according to operational procedures, ensuring all areas are secure, clean, and ready.

The spa operates 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm. Shifts will include opens, closes and availability on Sunday, Monday and Public Holidays is a must.

About You

• You have a passion for all things Spa and Wellness

• You are a qualified Massage or Beauty Therapist with at least 5 years experience

• You have at least 2 years leadership experience in a 5 star Spa Property (highly regarded)

• You love recommending products/ treatments to ensure the guest experience continues even after they leave

• You are guest centric, a team player, and have a positive attitude

• You have excellent personal presentation standards and strong communication skills

• You are adaptable, flexible and responsible
