Salary range: $8062.00 to $10221.70 p.f. (L18-L27)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Vic Callanan Department of Anaesthetics and Perioperative Medicine at Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) offers Specialist Anaesthetists the opportunity to work in a vital and innovative department in tropical North Queensland. Anaesthetists at Townsville University Hospital have the opportunity to deliver high quality anaesthetic and perioperative care to patients from the THHS area and referred tertiary patients from the entirety of North Queensland.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
Qualified as a medical practitioner with specialist qualifications and registration, or eligible for registration, as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia in the appropriate discipline.
All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP committee. All appointments are subject to maintenance of SoCP within the Clinical Services Capability Framework for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
A class C motor vehicle licence.
This position may require the incumbent to work at other facilities within the THHS.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
