What you'll be doing
TechRadar Australia is looking for a Staff Writer with experience with technology and lifestyle topics to contribute to our comprehensive coverage for Australian readers. This writer will file daily stories about important products, while also providing analysis and opinion pieces, and product reviews. Also, the writer will help update our buying guides to give our audience the best recommendations possible.
You will also stay on top of news within the category, and forging relationships with product vendors. You will be someone with an editorial voice and a true experience with technology that can support TechRadar to stand out with original stories and thoughtful analysis.
For this role you will report into the Managing Editor and work with the wider Games, Entertainment and Technology (GETS) team of writers.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- A wide knowledge of consumer technology
- SEO knowledge and the tricks of the trade
- Some experience with SEO analytics (desirable)
- Knowledge of tech-adjacent categories and home/lifestyle topics (desirable)
- Previous journalism experience working for news or consumer technology
- At least 2 years of editorial experience
