What you’ll be doing

As a Storeperson you will be responsible for the correct receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of all inventories in accordance with Virgin Tech’s policies and procedures.

You will provide specialist support functions to both aircraft maintenance and ramp operations teams, including warehousing and logistics, tooling and ground support equipment management, training management, maintenance forward planning and resources planning and management.

This role operates on a roster pattern of 2 days/2nights then 4 off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Receive and dispatch goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Virgin Tech’s policies and procedures.
  • Product Handling: Package products following OEM guidelines and manage returns, ensuring everything is in its correct place.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Process tools, track shelf life, and ensure proper tool handling in line with regulations.
  • Stock Control: Manage inventory locations and help with stocktakes to maintain system accuracy.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all products are stored according to regulations, including hazardous, aeronautical, and commercial goods.

You’ll be great in this role if you have…

  • High School Completion or equivalency
  • A good understanding of computer systems and inventory management software
  • Previous experience in warehousing or inventory management is a plus.
  • Sound computer literacy – This role has a high usage of computer systems within the scope of the role and requires an understanding of computer programs or inventory warehouse systems
  • A detail-oriented nature and take pride in your work, ensuring everything is accurate and well-organized.
  • Proven ability as a team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights)
  • Reliable transport and licence (Public transport is not available during the shift times)
  • Forklift License While not required, a forklift license is an advantage.

As part of this role, you are required to ….

  • Ability to undertake and clear a Medical assessment and DAMP test (This at own expense through company provided by us)
  • Ability lift 23kg
  • Hold a valid Driver’s License
  • Meet Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) requirements and pass a police background check
