This role will focus on planning and development of student orientation programs across the university. You will be responsible for creating engaging, inclusive, and memorable experiences that help new students transition into university life. From coordinating welcome events and information sessions to collaborating with departments and student leaders, you’ll play a key role in fostering a strong sense of belonging from day one.

You will also be part of the wider Students Events and Experience team assisting with large-scale Graduation Ceremonies and other corporate events across multiple campuses – ensuring every detail is delivered with excellence.

Position Requirements


  • Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a passion for delivering top-tier customer experiences.
  • Solid administrative and technical skills, including proficiency in email systems, databases, and ideally, Adobe InDesign or desktop publishing tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills – you’ll work with everyone from students to senior University staff.
  • Event management experience is desirable.
