i.am is a service supporting young people to identify their hopes and reach their future goals. i.am is a psychosocial support service that supports children and young people up to 25 years of age with lived experiences of suicide, suicidality, and self-harm. i.am is a safe space founded on lived experience and peer support.

You will be at the heart of ensuring that our innovative program enhancements work as a cohesive and effective whole—resulting in improved support for children, young people, and their families.
This position is a Max Term contract role or 12 months. You will work 23 hours per week – Monday to Friday (0.6 FTE).

About the Role
You will contribute to higher engagement rates, improved safety and wellbeing outcomes, and a more integrated aftercare approach within the service.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Integrated Service Delivery: Ensure program practices are coordinated and aligned with the i.am Practice Guide.
Monitor and Evaluate Program Progress: Track performance against key metrics—including scope, timelines, quality, costs, and benefits—by utilising data-driven insights and regular feedback from teams and stakeholders.
Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Serve as the operational point of contact with internal teams (Clinical Leads, Family Peer Worker, Co-Production Coordinator, Customer Service teams) and external partners (Local Health Districts, NSW Ministry of Health, community-based support services) to facilitate clear communication and alignment on service delivery.
Facilitate Cross-Site Coordination: Organise and lead meetings (stakeholder forums, customer advisory groups, consortium gatherings, LHD and funding body meetings) to share insights, discuss challenges, and drive a cohesive approach across multiple program sites.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Support the evaluation of service delivery systems and propose modifications to policies, practices, and data management processes in order to enhance operational efficiency, customer outcomes, and set the i.am program up for success and future funding opportunities.
Essential experience and skills - you will have:
Experience in delivering integrated mental health services and operational coordination in a youth/mental health setting.
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple sites and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Relevant qualifications and experience in the mental health or disability sectors.
Relevant four year degree with one years relevant experience or
Three year degree with two years of relevant experience or
Associate diploma with relevant experience or
Lesser formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience or
Experience attained through previous appointments, service and/or study, an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake a range of activities.
Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for community-based work.
Compliance checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, and Police Background Check.
