Position: Support Worker
Location: Como, WA
The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Como, WA, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
We are looking for a Support Worker to assist our client in Como. This client requires assistance with companion care and domestic assistance for 4 hours per week. This client requires a Support Worker who speaks fluent Farsi.
There are also many other clients in the area with the opportunity to pick up shifts with other clients to build hours.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Experience in providing at home care including Personal Care
- Must be able to speak fluent Farsi
