Position: Support Worker
Location: Bodallin, WA
The Role:
As a Support Worker/Carer in Bodallin, WA, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities, including showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.
This client requires assistance with domestic assistance for about 2 hours per week. The shift days and times are flexible and the client is happy to fit within the successful applicants schedule.
Please note that this is our only client in Bodallin so we are unable to offer extra hours, however it is a good opportunity to get some experience in Support Work, to make some extra money or to give back to the community.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Clearance Certificate
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Smartphone
- Experience in providing at home care including Personal Care
- Must have a lot of knowledge and experience in creating a variety of Indian meals as there will be food preparation involved and the client prefers Indian cuisine.
