Tuggerah : Saturday: 12.00pm – 3.00pm or Sunday: 8.30am – 11.00am

About Rainbow Club
Rainbow Club is a network of social swimming clubs for children with a disability. Rainbow Club Australia is a charity that helps children with a disability learn to swim and provides young adults with aqua exercise classes. We have 70+ clubs across NSW, VIC, ACT and QLD and have plans to increase our footprint to meet the increasing demand for membership. We employ 400+ swimming teachers on a casual basis to provide personalised swimming lessons and aqua exercises to children and young adults with a disability.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified swimming teacher to be an on call teacher for our Erina and Tuggerah Rainbow clubs in case of staff shortage to help children with disabilities learn to swim at our Tuggerah Rainbow club (Location: The Mariners Centre) during school term.
This is a great opportunity for weekend work. You will leave every week feeling like you've made a difference in the lives of children and families with a disability.
Responsibilities Swim Teacher:
Conduct safe, positive, and motivating swimming classes following our Swim the Rainbow Program
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of swim teaching and water safety, ensuring member safety and enjoyment
- Ability to manage members of various ages and abilities in an aquatic learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Swim Teacher
- Current CPR certificate
- Working with children check/Blue card QLD
- NDIS Workers Check
