Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Test Analyst to join our dynamic and growing IT team at AFCA. This is your chance to make a real impact, playing a key role in shaping the future of our core Microsoft D365 platforms.
In this hands on and high impact role, you’ll dive into testing across a suite of cutting-edge technologies including Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Portals, Dynamics 365 Finance, and bespoke in-house solutions. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment—this is the opportunity for you. This position is initially a 12 month max term contract.
Typically, in this role you will:
- Perform manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Assist with the introduction of automation testing – tool configuration, test scripts, monitoring and reporting
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Conduct testing across various platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365 CE, and web portals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and document software defects and issues.
- Participate in test planning and provide valuable insights to improve the overall testing process.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Continuous Improvement & Automation - on-going improvement of testing activities, identify areas for improvement, champion a focus on high quality outcomes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst
- Clear understanding of Agile practices, test design, execution & reporting
- Demonstrated ability to build effective test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools – Azure DevOps preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & FinOps highly desired
- A meticulous eye for detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
