Job Description
Are you a testing visionary ready to tackle a challenge that impacts the future of news? We're on the hunt for an exceptional Test Manager to join our dynamic transformation program for a 4 month Fixed Term Contract.
This isn't just about finding bugs; it's about sculpting the future of how news is delivered. You'll be the driving force behind the end-to-end test planning and execution for our groundbreaking transformation programme.

Day to day you will:
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure successful testing outcomes and project success.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive End-to-End Test Strategy, securing sign-off to align on scope and breadth across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare and secure sign-off for End-to-End UAT Plans and Completion Reports, confirming business approval that the solution works as expected.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cohesive UAT planning, execution, defect resolution, and reporting.
- Facilitate the timely securing of all required testing resources, including people and environments.
- Ensure test scenarios, expected results, and test data are prepared, reviewed, and signed off, capturing test case priority and impact before execution.
- Lead defect management processes, including daily execution meetings, status reports, and defect triage, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
- Highly pragmatic and flexible, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills, crucial for delivering testing outcomes in complex, multi-stream environments.
- Significant experience managing the full testing lifecycle, from strategy to execution.
- Strong background in functional, integration, and end-to-end testing within large-scale, intricate environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based migrations, integrations with on-premise systems, and practical experience in a hybrid agile environment.
- Excellent communication, test leadership, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a self-starting approach and the ability to think creatively.
