About the role
The Trade Warehouse Operator / Counter Sales role is a full-time position based at our Bayswater North, VIC store. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role primarily focuses on warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in customer service and delivery support as needed.
In this role you will:
- Perform a range of warehouse operations including stock movements, order picking, inventory counts, and general housekeeping.
- Operate forklifts to load customer vehicles and move stock within the warehouse.
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting and unwrapping products as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation, product labelling, and presentation standards.
- Provide customer service support by attending to enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist with deliveries when needed.
Your hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm.
About you:
- Current forklift license with sufficient experience is essential.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
- Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
