About the role
The Trade counter Sales & Warehouse Operator (Gyprock) role is a Full-time position, based at Thomastown, VIC. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the showroom and warehouse.
In this role you will:
- Have a Responsibility and commitment to providing a holistic customer service approach from taking enquiries to fulfilling orders across a range of products
- Attend to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Process orders and convert quotes to orders
- Support warehouse and distribution operations including loading customer vehicles
- Ensure stock accuracy by undertaking daily inventory counts
- Contribute to achieving store revenue and margin budgets.
- Actively contribute to showroom replenishment to meet store standards
- Contribute to maintaining site safety standards
Your hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm.

- An eagerness to learn about products and services.
- Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
- Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
- Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Forklift licence is desirable or willing to obtain one.
