Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Trade Assistants to join our project team in Roma, Surat Basin, QLD. We can offer an immediate start for the right candidate on f ull-time, permanent position with FIFO from Brisbane . In this role you will work as part of the site team throughout the Gas Fields with the work scope consisting of installation and maintenance on wellhead surface infrastructure and compression facilities ensuring that work ins completed safely, effectively and to the required standard.
ABOUT YOU
- Site Proficient: Pervious experience working within a heavy industrial environment, with previous oil & gas experience
- Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks.
- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, Gas Test Atmospheres Ticket – within the last 3 years (required). MR or HR Licence, Working at Heights and EWP (desired). Must be clean shaven. Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
