We’re currently seeking a motivated and qualified Security Operations Trainer to join our dynamic team and deliver the Certificate II in Security Operations, with the potential to expand into other training areas.
About the Role:
As a Security Operations Trainer, you’ll play a key role in developing the next generation of security professionals. Your real-world experience and training expertise will directly support students in building the practical skills and confidence they need to succeed in the field.
In this role you will:
- Deliver engaging classroom-based training and assessment activities
- Support student progress and maintain training records in collaboration with our admin team
- Ensure compliance with VET Quality Framework and SLED requirements
- Contribute to the review and validation of course content and materials
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to keep our programs current and effective
What You’ll Need:
- CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
- Class 2D Security Licence
Plus one of the following trainer qualifications:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- TAE40110 Certificate IV with these units:
- TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A
- TAEASS501 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B
- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
And:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Security Officer
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills in vocational training, competency-based assessment, and adult learning
