WHO ARE WE?
We are a medium sized Perth based family run transcription business with an amazing close knit team based around Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Malaysia. We all support one another and it is a great working environment. Even though we are all online, we are all remotely based and you can work within the comfort of your home, which is a blessing in these unpredictable times of COVID.
We mainly provide transcripts to the Insurance sector and Private Investigation companies and more lately other businesses for their Minutes. It is varied, sporadic and at times challenging, however, we do love what we do and take huge pride in producing a perfect product to our clients in very tight deadlines. This is what we are known for.
We support many local animal charities from SAFE, HAART, Pet Rescue and Desperate for Love as well as Animals Asia and Royal Far West. Yes, we are massive animal lovers and on a monthly basis we donate to each of our charities to pay it forward.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are therefore looking for passionate and motivated Transcriptionists who can follow instructions well and hit the ground running.
If you are an honest, reliable home based contractor with your own own equipment and current ABN and have the ability to produce accurate transcripts from recorded audio / video interviews in accordance with our style guides then we want to hear from YOU.
If you don’t have experience being a Transcriptionist, you will not necessarily be excluded, however, what we are interested in is your ability to provide accurate documents quickly on a consistent basis and be able to follow instructions and direction.
We are always on the lookout for good, accurate and reliable members to join our team. Sometimes you may have two hours work that week, sometimes much more than you expect. It is up to you how much you want to take. We do expect you to take at least one audio job per week to retain your rate and experience. This is important to stay in touch with the way we do things and will help you fine tune your skills so your error rates remain low.
